Hold both ends of the piece and place it on your mouth before drawing both ends to the back of your head (as if you were putting a bandana on).

Holding both ends, wrap the ends under your chin, and then pull the ends back towards the back of your head. Tie the two ends into a knot at the back of your head. Tie them tightly so that the knot does not come loose later. Make sure you do not sew the straight bottom part of the mask as that is where your neck will come out of. You do not need to trace the details of your head, just the general round shape of your head and your neck. Cris-cross them and then wrap them along the back of your head and around your neck (make sure this is not too tight!). Also measure the back of your head to the tip of your nose. Measure how big you want the chest piece to be and cut out that shape out of the tan colored vinyl. If you do not have someone to help you trace your head with, measure the length of your head from the top of your head to your collar bones.

Tie them at the back of your head. Make sure that you are cutting both the front and the back of the t-shirt. Fold both the top and bottom collar in so that the seams are not showing. Folding the collar also covers the shirt tag. The shirt is one of my favorite parts because it can EASILY be worn after Halloween without it looking like a costume.
